Earn $1,000/Month from the Best Online Surveys for Cash
Surveys! It’s a super easy way for you to get paid to share your opinion. Now, if you’re looking for a “takeover your 9 to 5” income, this isn’t it. At all! But, if you wanna earn a side hustle for extra cash to save, throw toward bills, lunch money, for movies or bowling, or anything really, then this is it! Keep reading so I can share the best online surveys you can take to earn real money. This comes from personal experience too. I’ve been a survey-taker for years. Here we go!
Making Money with Surveys
Working from home earning from surveys is a great way to make extra money. It’s easy, virtually anyone can do it, as long as you have an Internet connection, it’s flexible and reliable.
Here are my best practices from the start:
- Start small then scale
- Manage your time
- Track your income
- Treat it like a business
Starting Small, Then Scaling
There are a TON of survey companies out there. How do you know which ones to pick? Don’t worry, I’m gonna share a killer roundup of my favorites a little further down but, it can get overwhelming. You’ll want to apply to every single survey company you come across but, they aren’t all created equal.
Start small. This means, begin with 3 to 5 survey companies. As you get the hang of things, as you like, feel free to add more companies to the mix.
Here’s an example to paint a picture of your potential earnings:
3 survey companies with $10/offers per day = $30/day or $210/week or $840/month
5 survey companies with $10/offers per day = $50/day or $350/week or $1,400/month
7 survey companies with $10/offers per day = $70/day or $490/week or $1,960/month
You see how things look as you start to scale. Now, this isn’t work. Just because it’s easy, doesn’t mean it’s not work. A survey typically involves answering a series of questions. You want to answer honestly so each question will require you to think for a bit, then answer. It’s a repetitive process. It can get boring and tiring. Intellectual work is more tiring than physical labor, in my opinion. So, go into this knowing it’s gonna be work.
Managing your Time
This is helpful to really maximize the number of surveys you can take per day. Set a timer and stick to it. You can also set a max number of surveys you will take daily and stick to that number. Doing both is a great idea.
This will help you stay organized and make the most money with survey-taking.
Tracking your Income
Survey companies are huge organizations. While mistakes can happen, that’s not why I recommend tracking your income. It’s an ego boost! Checking your earnings every few days or every week gives you motivation to keep pushing so you can keep earning. This is one of the most fun parts of survey-taking for me.
You can physically track the income jotting it down by hand, you can make a spreadsheet or you can just check in on your earnings from time to time without recording, your choice!
Treat it like a Business
If you treat this like a business, you will fare much better, than if you don’t. Take it seriously. Monitor your work, track your earnings, and consider getting a free, separate email address just for surveys. Some companies email you offers so it would keep you super organized if you had a separate email account just for your surveys. Make sense?
Recommended Survey Companies
Now, for the list of my recommendations. I’ve been taking surveys for several years now. I am a member of many companies and have the opportunity to earn hundreds per day doing them. These companies I recommend are professional, offer high quality offers and very easy to join and use. Here they are:
Survey Savvy
I have earned the most with Survey Savvy. They have high-paying quality offers, as high as $80 each (highest I’ve seen).
They even have something called Savvy Connect in which you install their app on your phone and get paid monthly while they observe your phone internet activity. Pretty cool, huh? It’s like getting paid to do nothing.
The minimum threshold to get paid is $1 and you once you hit this threshold you can cash out any time you want.
Nielsen Panel
Nielsen is one of my absolute favorites! With Nielsen, you get paid to share your opinion to help companies improve products. Register for free, share your opinion, earn, get paid. Easy as that.
Swagbucks
With Swagbucks, you get paid to shop, play, watch video, and more. It’s so cool. Their site is super information-rich. Tons of ways you can earn. I read a story recently about a Swagbuckser who accumulated all her rewards for the year to get an Amazon gift card. It was worth $500 and she got an Amazon gift card which she used for holiday gifts at the end of the year. She was doing it part time! Join here.
E-Poll
They pay in PayPal, Starbucks, and Amazon rewards. I love this! To get signed up, you fill out a short form for registration, click your activation link in the email they send you, then you’re off to the races. They even give you a sign up bonus (100 points) when you join! Click here to join.
User Interviews
These surveys are very high paying but they are far and few between. When you get selected, expect to not get another shot at a survey for a while. I’ve done a handful of these, that have paid $50 to $125 each. This is a great high paying offer to kind of fill in the gaps. For reliable, steady income, I’d recommend the above offers.
Since these ones pay more, expect them to be more involved. You’ll be interviewed by phone or web chat and may be required to share your screen or video yourself. It’s worth it in my opinion but just know these are the expectations. Learn more about them right here.
Wrap Up
There you have it! If you’re looking for some cashback opportunities to layer onto these survey payouts, check out Dosh.
I just started using them on my phone. You link your credit (or debit) card and earn cashback from participating retailers you use your card at, AUTOMATICALLY.
So, say you shop at Old Navy and Aldi. You spend $100 at Old Navy and they offer a 10% cashback and Aldi is $50 spend with a 5% cashback.
Assuming they are participating retailers and you used the card you linked to your Dosh account (you can link multiple cards, by the way), you just earned $10 (from Old Navy) + $2.50 (Aldi)=$12.50 total for doing nothing more than you’d normally do, shop! Dosh applies the cashback to your Dosh account and you can cash out. Simple! It’s free to join.
