8 Super Easy Things You Can Flip for Profit
Follow my blog with BloglovinDid you know that everyday people like you and me flip things for profit? It’s a business and it can be a quite lucrative one. Flipping is defined as the process of buying something at low price (or building it) and selling it a high price, keeping the difference as your profit! I have been flipping for profit for years. Last year, I made over $30K flipping things and this year, I’ve already made over $80K with flipping!
There are many ways to earn a profit from home: running an online store, taking surveys, starting a side biz, etc. Flipping is very rewarding, lucrative, and fun. Read on to learn about 8 super easy things you can flip for profit, starting today!
Electronics
Clothes
Your used or even new clothes are great for flipping. First, two words: vintage clothes. Nuff’ said. Aside from that, if you have clothes that are gently used or brand new with tags on (Am I the only one who has stuff like that in the closet?), flip em’! Ebay is the perfect place.
Footwear
Footwear and shoes are great for flipping too. If you have designer shoes or sports shoes like Air Jordans, for example, flip them! Try apps like Poshmark. You’ll get a lot of eyes on your stuff fast.
Toys
You know those toys your kids grow out of. One minute my son was into Yo Gabba Gabba, the next minute he was into Thomas the Train. Take those toys and sell them! You can sell them in lots in online marketplaces. They also do well at kids consignment stores, garage sales, putting them in online garage sales like VarageSale or Facebook marketplace. Try it out.
Gaming Systems
You know that gamers are a passionate group. Do you have a throwback original Nintendo or Super Nintendo console? A ton of games or other gaming stuff? These are really great to flip and can be collectibles.
Sports Stuff
This falls into the collectible category also. Don’t think any item is too small. List it all. Try Ebay or sports sports locally to see how you fare.
Dishes and Flatware
Grandma’s old flatware that is in the attic that you won’t be keeping or silver you received as a wedding gift from a former marriage? Flip it! Dishes, China, flatware, glasses, mugs, they all do exceptionally well.
Anything Vintage
Vintage is a huge, booming market. It’s so crazy because you can buy an old t-shirt at the thrift store for $3 and sell it online for $30. People specifically target thrift stores and flea markets for this exact purpose. Anything vintage you have: small appliances or clothes, anything that you can sell and want to sell, try flipping!
My Best Advice
My top tip for making money online selling your stuff is to be consistent. It can get discouraging at times but if you keep at it, you’ll gain more experience, get regular customers and can really start to make it into a business. This is great if you wanna turn flipping into your full time gig or if you’re just looking for a consistent side hustle.
Also, try getting the app! Apps make things easier, especially flipping. A lot of apps let you take photos, list items with a few clicks, monitor your profile and items and so much more.
Selling in a marketplace like eBay or Bonanza? Consider getting the app.
